Dinglewood Pharmacy in Columbus

Expensive! They charge you for a glass of water! What?! If you are going to charge me for water tell me first so I can leave. Dumb!! Food was subpar. Not impressed.

I've been eating here since I was a child and my parents and grandparents have eaten here for over 75 years. Always delicious food and always a friendly atmosphere where you always see great friends from your lifetime. The owner, Terry Hurley, is a true gentleman in every sense of the word and loves his customers. And, by the way, he is also a pharmacist and runs a top notch pharmacy on one side of the building while the soda fountain restaurant with old style stools at the counter are always so much fun on the other side of the building. Great food, great milkshakes, great staff, great owner....who could ask for more! If you've never been, please go and get the World Famous Scrambled Dog. The chili served here has been enjoyed by Presidents of the United States, State Governors and it's even been shipped overseas for wedding receptions. It's truly legendary. Eat here while in Columbus, GA...You'll be glad you did!!!

I am Amazed I came here as a little girl my mom brought me here once a week for a treat and a great scrambled dog best I've ever ate. Thank yall 46 years later I visited and yall were still hear 😁😁😁😁Sarg still comes in the lady told me cause I had to ask please tell Sarg I appreciate him and all the staff great memories the Gregg family. We hope to visit again one day.

This place was horrible. No customer service. This was my first visit here, I didn't know where to place my order...Then the lady that took my order was rude and wouldn't tell me what came on the hotdogs... Other employees looked like they didn't want to be at work. I will never ever go back here again.

Hot dog didn't have much taste, they are those pink hot dogs. Paid over ten dollars for two chili dogs and sweet tea. The ladies serving at counter were nice.

I have used the pharmacy for several years to my meds, along with my sons, and the staff knows who I am by sight. The lunch counter has the best chili dogs in the area. Love seeing Leiutenant out and about, offering a smile and great conversation to everyone he comes in contact with.

The chili is unique and makes the scrambled dog my favorite hot dog variation of all time from anywhere. Grew up in NYC and know good food. If the scrambled dog was sold up there there would be a line 2 blocks long. I like my scrambled dog with no oyster crackers, WITH cheese onions and pickles and then I add ketchup and mustard. Amazing.

Local landmark and the best scrambled dogs in the south!! Been going since I was a child and I still love this place. It’s a no frills soda counter inside a pharmacy. Famous for their scrambled dogs and delicious chili. They also have lots more on the menu to choose from (not that I do because the dog is the best!) Get there early to get a table quickly - but if you have to wait, you won’t wait long.

Wow, I’ve never been so depressed in my life. Literally sad. I walked out and had less of my soul. I got the scrambled dog, which is supposed to be what everyone loves. It tasted like canned chilli, on top of a soggy hotdog bun, with oyster crackers, and a super small cut up hot dog. Don’t waste your time with this place. It’s supposed to be historic, but if something isn’t good, don’t support it.

I called them to make sure they had my boyfriends prescription in the strength he needed it in by calling ahead and they confirmed they did. We got to the store and happen to be an interracial couple and were happy to serve me as a white woman until they saw my boyfriend was black and changed their mind and said they didn’t have our prescription and I hadn’t even told them what the prescription was yet. They told him to leave and they didn’t have to serve him. This pharmacy is OPENLY racist I would give no stars if I could. If you are African American do not come here you will be talked down on and disrespected, I have witnessed it myself.

Had a shake she had the malt. Very good; neat little spot with an old time feel in a great neighborhood. We will be back soon for the dogs.

Been here in Columbus for years and finally decided to go try the famous scrambled dog. Did not regret it at all. Extremely friendly staff, and quick service. Food was awesome, and the cook (who's name I didn't catch) made helpful recommendations and conversation. I'll definitely be going back, and I recommend others go as well.

DingleWood Home of the dingledog and the world famous DingleSauce! Come here if you want some classic lays chips! Dingle Pharmacy also puts nyquil in their dingleSauce so it is addicting, so be very careful when trying the DingleSauce! Im John Dingle i own DingleWood home of the dingledog and dinglesauce! I hope the world famous dinglewood-men doesnt have any dingleberries. The Dinglewood pharmacy is almost as good as the World Famous dinglewood dog. Those dingledog's buns may look like dingle seeds, but they are actually DingleWeed! So if you eat the dingledog with the special dingle seeds you will be getting the dingle munchies later on! John Dingle is actually in disguised as shabadoo which is in disguise as plankton. DingleWood is a undercover chumbucket! So beware if you go to DingleWood better have your dinglemask on so you wont dingle drown! DINGLEWOOD MADE ME LOOSE MY DINGLE-FRIENDS :(

We drove from Chattanooga Tn to try the best scramble dog I have ever eaten. I must say it was worth the drive. See you again soon.
